2 or 3 Tier

This 2 or 3 Tier layer Frame Mantel offers a modern look for a fireplace surround. The 2 Tier Version consists of a 4” and a 3” outer frame with another small frame closer to the firebox opening. The 3 Tier Version consists of 3 layers at about 7” in size, stair stepped to enlarge the shape of the firebox. The shape and size of the firebox helps to drive the shape of this mantel. Prices shown here are for a 6 ft wide wall. Larger widths are available at a slight upcharge. Filler trim may be needed to get a taller finished height for small fireboxes.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OVER TIME, SOME SHRINKAGE MAY OCCUR DUE TO NORMAL EXPANSION AND CONTRACTION. BECAUSE THE MANTEL CONTAINS STEEL REINFORCEMENT, THIS IN NO WAY AFFECTS THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE MANTEL.

Our standard finish consists of a back-fill that is applied to smooth the natural crevices that occur in the pouring process. It is further sanded and honed to have the texture and color variation of smooth white limestone. For more details see OUR PRODUCT page.

(Note: If you desire to save the cost of filler trim and hearth, you may use any light colored travertine or tile which makes an excellent trim and can be set by your tile installer.)
