These FRENCH and MODERN TUDOR REPRODUCTION cast-stone fireplace mantels offer a modern version of Old World Style that is scaled for today‘s larger rooms.  The Tudor Version offers a gothic arch and layers of hand cut and applied moldings. The French version has approximately 40 feet of molding is hand cut and applied around the opening and on the 2 tiered layers to provide a fine tailored look These mantels are custom sized to fit certain firebox openings and may require filler trim on the sides and top as needed to fit the smaller fireboxes. The overall finished height is 4’ 10” tall and approx. 6’ 4” wide.The size can be adjusted at additional cost. This mantel fits best on a wall that is at least 6 ft 6 inch wide.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OVER TIME, SOME SHRINKAGE MAY OCCUR DUE TO NORMAL EXPANSION AND CONTRACTION.  BECAUSE THE MANTEL CONTAINS STEEL  REINFORCEMENT, THIS IN NO WAY AFFECTS THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE MANTEL.

Our standard finish consists of a back-fill that is applied to smooth the natural crevices that occur in the pouring process. It is further sanded and honed to have the texture and color variation of smooth white limestone. For more details see  OUR PRODUCT page.

(Note: If you desire to save the cost of filler trim and hearth, you may use any light colored travertine or tile which makes an excellent trim and can be set by your tile installer.)
